Prize day is held on the last day of the school year. At this time, the "True Child of the Sacred Heart" award is given to a fourth grade student who best embodies the traits of Sacred Heart education. Faculty nomination and election choose this student. Some of the qualities that one attributes to the recipient of this award are deep faith in God, courtesy, dependability,friendliness, responsibility, trustworthiness and gentleness.
