At Duchesne, the Parents' Association (PA) plays an integral role in supporting the Fourth Goal of the Sacred Heart - the building of community as a Christian value. We hope you will help put this Goal into action and set an example to your daughter by joining the Parents' Association and volunteering your time to enrich the school's community.
Whether it's volunteering for an event, working in the Bookstore, helping with weekend or evening activities, etc., there is a role available for every parent, regardless of their daily schedule.

I would like to join the Parents' Association, what do I do?
If you would like to join the Parents' Association for the 2008-2009 school year, please complete the membership form on the Duchesne website and send it in with a $25 check to the Events Office. You may also stop by the Events Office (114 L) and pick up a form.
Why join the Parents' Association?
The Parents' Association provides many fun networking opportunities through volunteerism, involvement, and leadership. Also, the association financially contributes to the School. In 2007, the Parents' Association contributed money to assist with the purchase of new gym bleachers.
What are some upcoming volunteer opportunities?
Volunteers are needed for the Back to School Sale, Book Fair, Faculty/Staff Appreciation, Extravaganza and other committees. Be sure to look out for opportunities in the monthly Parents' Association news e-mail titled "In the Know," and you will also want to check out the Events Calendar and Master Calendar regularly.
When are the Parents' Association meetings?
All parents are encouraged to attend monthly Parents' Association meetings during the year on the first Thursday of the month at 8:15 a.m. in the Turn Table Room in the Fine Arts Building. Please note that the Parents' Association does not hold meetings in January.
