The lists of approved used books for Middle and Upper School are available from the links below. The lists are Adobe Acrobat pdf documents and require Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to open and print the files.

Used textbooks will be collected in the classroom the last 2 weeks of May and a Used Book Sale will be held in the cafeteria on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 from 9am to 12pm.

Payments at the Used Book Sale should be made by CASH OR CHECK ONLY. If you are paying by check, please bring several checks in case you are purchasing textbooks from several different students. Checks should be made directly to the student.

Students can turn in their used texts to their appropriate teachers with a self addressed envelope starting the week of May 19th. The school will determine the price of the text. If your used text is sold at the Used Book Sale, the money will be mailed to your home in the self addressed envelope. Used texts that do not sell on July 15^th can be picked up in the Business Office. If your textbook is not picked up by August 1^st, it will be considered a donation to the school.

We encourage everyone to participate in the Used Book Sale program. The more texts that are turned in, the more opportunity other families will have to save money on their book purchases. PLEASE TURN IN THOSE USED BOOKS!!

NEW TEXTBOOKS

MBS Direct is our exclusive on-line supplier for all of your textbooks in grades 5-12. MBS Direct for offers competitive pricing, superior customer service, reliability, and inventory. MBS maintains its own warehouse with over 7 million books. Here is how the on-line program works:

·         MBS will maintain a current list of our courses and the books required for those courses.

·         You can have access through the Virtual Bookstore at http://bookstore.mbsdirect.net/duchesne.htm, or by clicking on the Back to School/Bookstore link on Duchesne's web site. You may also order your books by calling MBS Direct at 1-800-325-3252.

·         You may pay by Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express.

·         Orders will be shipped within 24 hours.

·         The Duchesne Virtual Bookstore at MBS Direct will open on Monday, July 15, 2008.

The final 2008/09 booklist will be up on the MBS Direct website beginning July 15, 2008. Please do not try and order texts before July 15^th. Ordering is easy - just go to the website below and follow the instructions to get to the Duchesne book list.

Upper School students should receive their schedules in early July. Please have your schedule handy when ordering texts. Middle School students will not receive a schedule; however, you should already know what courses your daughter will be taking.
