Special Communications
Teachers may send special communications as frequently as they deem necessary to inform parents of students' progress.
Procedures are in place for parents/guardians to express concerns. Please contact the teacher first, the Head of Middle School next, and then the Headmistress of the school.
The teachers are available to give extra help to students when needed. It is the student's responsibility to avail herself of this opportunity.
Faculty may be reached directly via e-mail or voice mail without having to go through the Middle School Office first. You may contact them by using the following E-mail addresses or Voice Mail extensions
Parent Conferences
Two regularly scheduled parent conference days follow the mailing of report cards. These occur at the end of Trimesters 1 and 2. Parents are encouraged to bring their daughters with them to the conference.
Parent Support
Parents of daughters enrolled in the school must be supportive of the school and its philosophy, policies, and procedures. In the event that this support is not possible, it is in the child's best interest to remove the child from the school.
Back-To-School Night
The faculty and administration prepare evening meetings for parents of students in grades five through eight to give the parents an overview of the program of studies. Parents follow a mini-schedule of their daughter's typical school day and receive an outline of general topics covered in each course.
