Uniform Information
A school uniform is a mark of distinction and should be worn correctly and with pride. One of the intentions of having uniforms is to create a sense of unity and reduce competition on a material plane. No exceptions to the uniform will be made.

Dress Uniform
Dress uniform is required on Holy Days, on special occasions designated on the monthly calendar, and on most school trips. The students are notified of dress uniform days well in advance. Dress uniform consists of:
Long sleeve, white, button-down oxford shirt
Navy blue sweater vest
Uniform skirt
White knee or crew socks only.
White tights may be worn with socks during colder months
Relaxed Dress
On relaxed dress days, students may wear jeans and a Duchesne T-shirt with tennis shoes or school shoes.
PE Uniform
Middle School PE uniform requirements include the following:
T-shirt: White with Duchesne logo.
Shorts: Navy blue with Duchesne logo.
Sweatsuits: Solid (no designer logos) navy, gray, dark green, or black with their name on the name tag/name bar.
Shoes: Must have jogging or cross training shoes with non-marking soles. Slip on tennis shoes are not appropriate. Please wear shoes that lace up.
Biking Shorts: Solid black, white or navy biking shorts may be worn under P.E. shorts.
Navy blue Duchesne sweatshirts and pants, uniform t-shirt, and shorts are available at the Duchesne Bookstore. Duchesne t-shirts and shorts are the required uniform for PE class. Sweat suits are allowed as long as they follow the above description. We recommend a minimum of two sets of PE clothes so there will always be a clean set in the locker.
The student's first and last name must be visible to the teacher and printed on the front left side of the T-shirt and shorts. We recommend a block print for the letters of the name; monogramming is acceptable and seems to be the most durable for lettering. All other items should be marked as well. This helps to identify lost items. The PE teachers will mark any unmarked clothing with a permanent marker by the third week of school and also throughout the year.
The student's name should be on all personal items so that they may be returned when found. The school is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.
