Back to School activities will soon be underway and planning has already started for next year's events. As we prepare our daughters for a new school year, we urge each of you to find your own connection to Duchesne. What better way to get "connected" than to join the Parents' Association. The Parents' Association is a great way to meet other families, make lifelong friends and help the school, all at the same time. You can volunteer at DASH N' Go for just an hour, be a spotter at Family Fun Bingo Night or provide a meal for Heart to Heart. The time commitment is flexible, and the opportunities to help are numerous.
The Parents' Association organizes traditional events, such as the National Honor Society Luncheon and Family Fun Bingo Night, as well as fundraising events, such as Extravaganza. Through our Heart to Heart Committee, we minister to those Duchesne families in need of help during stressful times in their lives.
Duchesne offers many ways for parents to get involved in the school community. Please take time to read over the complete list of Volunteer Opportunities. After you find your special committee or event, fill out the Parents' Association Membership Form and return it to the Events Office.
The Back to School Sale, August 19th and 20th, is held before the first day of school. This event provides an opportunity for parents to purchase used uniforms, birthday banners, yearbooks, PE uniforms, approved fleece jackets, and more. School books are not sold at this event.
