Students must participate in physical education or the equivalent each semester throughout Upper School.  Participation in one season of Duchesne Athletics or one season of after school conditioning satisfies the physical education requirement for one semester.  If a student cannot participate in the physical education program for an extended period due to health reasons, the student’s physician must send notification of such to the school.  Notices must be renewed annually.  Students excused from physical education classes are required to attend health classes and to substitute another unit of credit for the physical education units.  PE students must dress out for every scheduled physical education class.
