Test Days
Test Days are designated and posted by the faculty online, on the StudentLink site. As a rule students will not have more than two major tests or projects due on a single day.
Semester Exams
Students sit for formal exams at the end of each semester. The exam schedule is posted on the Duchesne Upper School and Master calendars online. Students may not write exams if financial obligations have not been met (tuition, fees, library fines, loans, etc.) Semester exams missed because of illness, death in the family, or an equivalent emergency may be taken during make-up day.
Senior Exam Exemptions
Seniors with an 88 or above average for spring semester in a yearlong course may be exempted from the final exam in that course in spring semester. Seniors with an 85 or above average for spring semester in an AP course may be exempted from the final exam in that course in spring semester. To be eligible for an exemption in a given class, a student may not have more than five absences in that class (apart from school events) during the fall semester or more than five absences in that class (apart from school events) during the spring semester.
