The school day begins at 7:55 A.M. and ends at 3:30 P.M. except when a special event has been scheduled.  The school cannot assume responsibility for nor provide supervision for students at school before 7:30 A.M. or after 5:00 P.M.  The Library is open for use on Monday through Thursday from 7:45 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and on Friday from 7:45 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. for students, faculty, staff and any parents who wish to make use of the facility.  The Computer Lab is available to students from 7:45 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. Students who are working independently must sign in when they use the facilities and must indicate which computer they used.

Students may remain after school until 6:00 P.M.  Parents must understand that students will be unsupervised during that time.  During the period of time before they are picked up, students may be in the Library or the Computer Lab, the student lounge, by the doors near the downstairs elevator, or they may attend a supervised school function on campus.  A student may not leave the campus during the time she is waiting to be picked up, unless she brings a note that day from her parents requesting that she be given permission to leave.  In that case the student must turn in the note to the UpperS chool office at the beginning of the school day and sign out at the time she leaves campus.  The school will not be responsible for students who are not in the designated on-campus areas.  Students who violate these guidelines are subject to loss of privileges, detention, and/or suspension.
