The Fine Arts at Duchesne Academy believes that all students deserve the opportunity to have the rich education and understanding that the arts provide. The department further believes that each student should have:

·        the tools to appreciate and evaluate the performing and visual arts

·        a sequential study, practice and reflection in the arts

·        the ability to make connections between subject, content, prior experience, historical information and themes in society

Students at Duchesne Academy have the opportunity to act in plays, perform in musical concerts, and show their visual art and photography. Classes are designed for hands on participation in the arts and Duchesne arts club (D.A.R.T.S) allows the students to participate in the arts outside the classroom. Our Fine Arts facility includes a theater, art gallery, dance studio, two art studios, television studio, photography lab and a music suite.
