Awards
Merit Assemblies are held at the end of the first two trimesters. At this in-house assembly, students receive merit awards for the Honor Roll, academic improvement, academic achievement, and service to the Middle School community. Students who receive an overall average of 95-100 with no "C's" in a given trimester will receive High Honors. Students who receive an overall average of 90-94 with no "C's" in a given trimester will receive Honors. At the end of the first two trimesters, teachers in each subject area award merit cards for "Very High Achievement" and "Most Consistent Improvement”.
Prize Day
The concluding exercises of the school year consist of a formal in-house assembly of Middle School students, faculty, and administration. Students who have excelled in each subject area at each grade level are recognized by classmates and teachers. Awards for outstanding contributions to the school community are also given. This assembly takes place on the final day of the school year and is followed by dismissal for the summer vacation. Dress uniform is required on this day.
