Placement and Promotion

Promotion from year to year depends upon the social and emotional development of the child, as well as the successful completion of the academic work.  If a student is experiencing serious academic difficulty as evidenced by D's or F's in trimester grades or final grades, she may be asked to engage a tutor, attend summer school, or select another school as repeating the year in the same school poses many self-esteem and social relationship problems to children this age.
