The music program at Duchesne begins in the Lower School to build a foundation of skills which are then built upon and expanded throughout the Middle and Upper School years. Music students have many opportunities to perform, create, and respond to music. Lower School offers music classes three times a week and Le Petit Choeur is a choir opportunity open to third and fourth grade students. In the Middle School, there are music classes and En Choeur, an auditioned choir. The Upper School offers an Ensemble class: Sacred Ensemble, an auditioned choir; a Liturgical choir; opportunities for students to cantor at school liturgies and independent study courses tailored to fit individual student needs. Students in the Upper School also have opportunities to participate in various competitions, such as auditions for the TPSMEA regional and state choir. 

Private instruction after school in piano and strings is also available to students.
