Tricia Tusa, Eloise Byrd, Headmistress Jan Dunn, Dr. Theo Tusa, Jr, Sally Edmundson, and Nancy Tusa at Extravaganza 2008 - "heart and soul," Duchesne's annual auction and dinner, on Saturday, March 8 at Houston Country Club. Dr. Tusa was honored at the event for his unwavering leadership and commitment to Duchesne. Joining Dr. Tusa were his four daughters: Tricia Tusa, Eloise Byrd, Sally Edmundson, and Nancy Tusa, all Duchesne alumnae.  The "sold out" event, which was chaired by Shaun Anzaldua, Debbie Kemple, and Cheri Mahoney, raised $525,000 -- an all-time Duchesne record -- to enhance academics, technology, athletics and arts at the School.  Highlights of the evening included Sr. Dunn honoring Dr. Theo S. Tusa, Jr. in front of more than 460 guests, and the live auction with Mistress of Ceremonies Linda Lorelle Gregory and Auctioneer Mario Anzaldua.
